Students at ReStart Academy sites are working with our long-time partner, Doing Art Together, in weekly art classes. Students and staff at sites are completing different art projects with a focus on Social Emotional Learning and Mindfulness, in a curriculum designed by teachers, counselors, and teaching artists. Students at Outreach House are working on identity masks, and the students at the Adolescent Skills Center are practicing meditation through drawing. One student remarked, “I am surprised at how relaxed this makes me feel.”
