Last week, our students from Prospect Heights dove into an unforgettable outdoor science experience with the Go Fish Marine Education Program, hosted by the Battery Park City Authority (BPCA). Guided by a BPCA educator, students explored the hidden wonders of the Hudson River estuary, learning about local marine life and the incredible biodiversity thriving just beneath the city’s surface. But the real excitement came when students grabbed their rods for a catch-and-release fishing adventure! Wide eyes and excited shouts filled the air as they reeled in six live fish—right here in New York City!
