ReStart students from LESP and Prospect Heights took center stage after a 12-week drama residency with teaching artists from YAI. Through skits and spoken word pieces they created themselves, students explored real-life topics like dating, family relationships, and neighborhood issues, and then brought those stories to life in a powerful performance for staff, students, and parents.
