Students from across all the Restart middle school sites participated in a STEM-based college trip to Rutgers University with their Rutgers Science Explorer Program. Led by Rutgers undergraduate students, students participated in several STEM-based station activities as well as two in-depth projects in cancer research and underwater oceanography. Students loved the hands-on activities, and several students said they could envision themselves pursuing STEM majors in college.
