This week, District 79 proudly hosted its annual family and community engagement (FACE) recognition ceremony at Carnegie Hall. Each D79 program honored an agency partner and a parent for their dedication and support. ReStart was proud to recognize Isamar Duran from Seton Residence for her invaluable support of our unaccompanied minor program, as well as Melissa Morris, mother of twin students at Channel View, for her commitment and partnership. Ms. Morris shared, “I am so grateful to have found this program. My daughters have grown so much because of the work of your teachers and staff.” Special thanks to District 79 staff members Stacey Oliger and Assistant Principal Paula Michas for their leadership and coordination with the FACE Committee.
